Very simple, classic layout and was the best substitute around post dark sky. But it crashes on and off and now I am unable to even open it (and yes I've cleared cache etc). On top of that, the UI is very US centric - when I'm searching for a location I have to scroll through a long list before finding anything in the UK. I was a premium customer but all of this means I'm going back to AccuWeather despite it's terrible design.

Please clear app data (not cache) to fix the loading issue. I apologize about the search results not prioritizing your location. Shadow Weather doesn't give any extra information other than your query, usually something like your ip address is used to approximate your location and bias results to those near you. I will add that to my todo list

Lots to like but the yearly charge is way too high for a weather app. UPDATE: I'd rather pay a one-off fee - maybe up to £6.99, tops - than get locked into yearly payments forever. There's loads of good (and cheaper) weather apps and although I'm always happy to pay for an app and help the developer, there's a limit as to what a weather app is worth!

Thanks for the feedback. What would you consider a good price point? The reason I picked this price point is to give my users the best weather data I can provide with no compromises. What other features would you like to see?

Inaccurate weather data for my location, UI not smooth on devices with high refresh rates and holds unnecessary wakelocks (IMO). *Update* thanks for the reply dev. I had changed providers and all are inaccurate IMO - I've had much better accuracy using WeatherPro who I don't believe provide an API (since their horrific redesign I've been looking for another app to replace it with). I saw 7% drop overnight where I usually see 3%, only thing new I saw was Shadow Weather holding over 2 locks ph.

I am not sure if your reply got cut off, but I do plan in introducing climacell as a source sometime soon, so hopefully that is more accurate for you. 3 -> 7% Overnight is kind of high. I have not had anyone else report high battery drain. Maybe OnePlus likes to hold the apps wakeups longer than the app itself (They are mostly under 1 second).
