About this app

Birkon Watch (ברכון לשעון) is a complete Hebrew birkon for Wear OS watches. It runs on the watch itself, with no phone and no internet connection, so the blessing is always on your wrist: after a meal, on the road, on a hike or at a simcha.

The app is in Hebrew, with the full vocalized (nikud) text.

What's inside
• Birkat HaMazon (Grace after Meals), with a zimun option
• Al HaMichya / Me'ein Shalosh: pick what you ate (grain, wine, fruit of the seven species, or any combination) and the text adapts
• Borei Nefashot
• Asher Yatzar
• Tefilat HaDerech (the Traveler's Prayer)
• Hoshanot: on the days of Sukkot they are listed first, in the order for that day and year

Three nusachim: Sefard, Ashkenaz and Edot HaMizrach.

The right insertions, automatically
The app computes the Hebrew date itself, and the Hebrew day starts at sunset. Based on the date it adds the right passages: Retzeh on Shabbat, Ya'aleh VeYavo on Rosh Chodesh and festivals, Al HaNissim on Chanukah and Purim, the Harachaman additions for Shabbat, Rosh Chodesh and festivals, Magdil or Migdol, and the mention of the day in Al HaMichya. Every insertion is marked in gold, so you can see at a glance what was added today.
Choose your location: Israel, Jerusalem (for Shushan Purim) or outside Israel (second day of Yom Tov), or leave it on automatic, based on the watch's time zone. Started eating before sunset, or took in Shabbat early? Tap the date line to switch to the previous or next day.

Easy to read on a small screen
• Scroll with the rotating crown or by touch
• Auto-scroll: long-press the text and pick a speed from 1 to 10. Any touch pauses it briefly
• Change the text size with a two-finger pinch or the א−/א+ buttons
• Four vocalized Hebrew fonts: Hadasim, Taamey Ashkenaz, Keter and Shofar
• The screen stays on while you read, and goes back to the normal screen timeout after 10 minutes without any input, to save battery
• Black background with light text, designed for round screens, with always-on (ambient) display support

Privacy
The app collects no data, never connects to the internet and does not ask for location access. Your settings (nusach, location, font and text size) are stored on your watch.
