I moved my notes from an old note app to this "encrypted offline" app. after 3 days this offline only app started to delete large sections of my notes. there's also no setting to report issues or bugs within the app because it's an "offline only app" but wait the app "will have full network access" view network connections" when it needs to, look at "about this app", scroll down to "app permissions see more". I would not recommend using this app. take this as a warning.

I've been using Fortnote and I love that my notes stay offline and encrypted without needing an account and with no ads or tracking. I really like how simple and clean the writing experience is as well as the strong AES-256-GCM encryption. I also like the biometric unlock and encrypted backups for extra security. Overall this app is an excellent choice for anyone looking for privacy-oriented notes taking app with modern encryption.
