ATOPA is an app designed to support local businesses. You can discover nearby shops, professionals, and services, order food, contact businesses, and even sell your own products.
📍 Main Features:
- Explore local businesses by category
- Order food without registering (guest mode)

🛵 Three Available Roles:
- Customer: Explore restaurants and place delivery orders.
- Business: Manage menus and receive orders in real time.
- Delivery Driver: Accept assigned deliveries and deliver them to customers.
🔔 Use of Foreground Services:
ATOPA uses Android Foreground Services for two essential functionalities:
1) Sharing your location during delivery (FOREGROUND_SERVICE_LOCATION). When the delivery driver activates "Online" mode from their dashboard, the app shares their location with the customer and the restaurant while a delivery is active. A persistent notification appears in the status bar ("Atopa — You're online" or "Delivery in progress"). The driver can stop the service at any time by tapping "Offline": the notification disappears and location sharing stops.
2) Incoming order detection for businesses (FOREGROUND_SERVICE_DATA_SYNC). The business app maintains a service that queries the server every few seconds to detect new orders, even with the screen locked or the app running in the background. This is essential for Sunmi POS systems without Google Play Services. The persistent notification "Atopa — Store · Listening for incoming orders" appears. The business owner can stop the service by logging out of their profile.
Both services only run when needed, and the user can stop them at any time from the app's interface.
The app works in Carballo and nearby areas, and is designed to boost the local economy.
