About this app

Stop fiddling with the map. Just say what you want to do.

"45 km from Middelburg, a beer at the end." "80 km loop from Bruges, back through Damme for a terrace." "A 12 km walk near Damme, finishing at a café." NodeHop reads that and builds a real knooppunten route — no tapping node after node, no guessing which numbers connect.

Then it navigates you along it.

NO ADS OVER YOUR ROUTE
• Never an ad banner across the map while you ride. No tracking either.
• Real navigation on your watch: the next node, the one after, the turn and the distance — not just a text message.
• The whole app is free.

PLAN IT BY SAYING IT
• One tap: pick 20, 30, 40 or 60 km and get a loop from where you are. No typing.
• Or describe it in your own words — how far, which direction, where to start, what you want along the way.
• Cycling or walking: NodeHop plans on the cycle node network and the walking node network both.
• Ask for a stop and get a real one: a café, a bakery, a terrace, drinking water, a bike shop.
• Not quite right? Say so. "Make it flatter." "Something quieter." "Show me another." The route reshapes around you.
• Still prefer tapping nodes yourself? The map planner is all there.

NAVIGATE IT
• Native turn-by-turn guidance from node to node, on a heading-up map.
• Spoken cues, so you can keep your eyes on the road.
• The screen stays awake while you navigate.
• Wander off course and it puts you back on it.

ON YOUR WRIST
• A Wear OS watch app shows your next node and how far it is, so the phone can stay in your pocket.

ALSO
• Real signed distances and a full elevation profile before you set off.
• Print a pocket cue sheet of node numbers.
• Scan a QR code to open a route someone shared with you.
• No account needed to plan a route and ride it. Sign in only to keep routes across your devices — the same account as the NodeHop web planner, so what you saved there is already here.

WHERE IT WORKS
The cycling and walking node networks of Belgium, the Netherlands, Luxembourg, Germany, France and Denmark.

This is a free beta — everything is open while we iron out the kinks, and a paid version follows once it's polished. NodeHop uses your location to place you on the map and guide you along the way.
Say what you want to ride, get your node numbers. Free, and no ads. Ever.
