About this app

NOESIS Science Center and Museum of Technology is a cultural, educational, public benefit Institution that offers the student community, but also the general public a suitable environment for getting to know and understanding the positive sciences and informing them about technological developments.

The ‘Noesis Mobile’ app is a multi-language personal guide tool to the permanent and temporary exhibitions at Noesis Science Center. Visitors can benefit from audio guided information, explanatory videos and 3d models for more than 300 exhibits of the permanent exhibitions (Ancient Greek Technology, Classic Cars).

The app needs Wi-Fi access (provided locally for free at Noesis) for the latest up-to-date information on exhibits and temporary exhibitions too. The app uses QR codes located in front of the exhibits and Bluetooth Beacon technology for automatic recognition of the visitor location related to the exhibits.
