Turn your Android tablet or phone into a second screen for your Mac — instantly, over USB, with no Wi-Fi required.
Whether you're working from a coffee shop, a co-working space, or anywhere without a monitor, Nomad Screen gives you extra screen real estate right from your pocket. Just plug your Android device into your Mac and get a live, high-quality mirror of your Mac's display in seconds.
How it works
Connect your Android device to your Mac with a USB cable. The Nomad Screen app on your Android receives a smooth, low-latency video stream directly from your Mac — no internet connection, no wireless pairing, no account needed.
What you can use it for
Extend your workspace when traveling without a monitor
Keep reference material, chat apps, or music controls on a second screen
Use your tablet as a dedicated display during presentations or demos
Important: this app requires the Nomad Screen Mac companion app
The Android app on its own does not do anything — it is the receiver. To stream your Mac's screen to your Android device, you must also install the free Nomad Screen app on your Mac (macOS 13 or later). The Mac app is what captures and sends your screen over the USB cable to this app.
