Nomello: AI Pet Name Generator

G-CAR

About this app

Nomello is the AI pet name generator that starts from a photo. Snap your new dog, cat or hamster and get names that actually fit, each with a short reason why.

Whether you need dog names for a brand new puppy, cat names for a rescue kitten, or something for the fish nobody saw coming, Nomello turns "it still has no name" into the fun part of bringing a pet home.

How it works
1. Answer a one-minute quiz about your taste in names.
2. Take a photo of your pet, or pick one from the gallery.
3. Ask for another name until one makes you smile. Each comes with its little why.

Better than scrolling lists of puppy names
- The AI reads the photo: coat, colour, size, expression, even a breed guess. A fluffy black kitten gets different ideas than a goofy golden retriever.
- A tone slider from elegant to completely unhinged. You decide how serious this gets.
- Pick the name cultures you love: English, Italian, Japanese, Chinese, French.
- Themes from your world: food, movies, music, mythology, astronomy, sport and more.
- Save favourites and compare them before you commit.
- A new Name of the Day every day.

Can't pick? Start a family vote
Send one link to the group chat. Everyone votes their favourite name, you see who picked what, and the winner settles it. Democracy, but for kitten names.

Every pet counts
Dogs and cats first, but Nomello is also a name generator for birds, fish, rabbits, hamsters and reptiles. Name one pet or the whole zoo, each with its own profile. Once the name is chosen, share a card with the photo, the name and the reason behind it.

Private by design
No account, no ads, no trackers. Your pets stay on your device, not in a cloud profile.

Nomello is free, with Nomi the corgi as your guide. Download it and find the name you'll be shouting at the park for years.
