You can watch all the content for free (with annoying ads). You can pay to get rid of ads plus get unlimited saved words and scenes. You can pay a ridiculous amount to get UHD video and spatial audio.

*You'll eventually learn how to order coffee because we add new movies every week. You're bound to get a coffee ordering scene at some point.

Learning language with familiar films is great! It is so much easier to learn with narrative and real context instead of just trying to memorize a bunch of vocab words. I have friends who taught themselves English by watching American movies. I was impressed by how fluent they were without any formal class. This app takes learning to the next level adding valuable structure. Zero in on specific types of conversation you want to improve and get multiple examples of real dialogue.

I installed this app today, and after two or three lessons it started showing a black screen. Even after killing the app and reopening it, it’s still showing a black screen.

A year ago when I installed the app for facilitating my French language learning it was of great help because I could tap on the words to know their meanings, however with the new update that feature was removed and another feature was introduced where we do vocabulary and sentence structure exercises before each video. It would have been better if both the previous feature & the current feature were merged together. I was very hopeful and took the premium subscription,however the app crashed.
