Welcome to Madinatul Noor - the City of Light.
NOOR (Beta - MVP) is an open-world adventure where your faith is your superpower. Step into a vibrant town, make it to the masjid on time, keep up
with your dhikr, and memorize Quran - all while exploring, meeting NPCs, and unlocking new places to visit.
This isn't another edutainment app with flashcards and quizzes. It's a real game. You walk the streets, dodge traffic, browse the
market, talk to people, and build your character - literally and spiritually.
HOW IT WORKS
The game runs on a day-night cycle with five prayer times. When the adhan calls, you decide: head to the masjid for full rewards, pray
where you are, or risk losing Noor points by skipping it entirely. Build prayer streaks across days and watch your rank climb from
Beginner to Enlightened.
Between prayers, the town is yours. Pick up good deeds around the neighborhood - help an NPC, give charity, clean up the park. Drop into
the Quran memorization game and test yourself on verses from your favorite surahs. Open the tasbih counter and tap through your 33s
with proper Arabic text, haptic feedback, and a satisfying completion chime.
WHAT YOU CAN DO
• Pray five daily salah - at the masjid, at home, alone or in congregation
• Memorize Quran through fill-in-the-blank verse challenges
• Track dhikr with a built-in digital tasbih (SubhanAllah, Alhamdulillah, Allahu Akbar)
• Explore a procedurally generated Islamic town with markets, schools, parks, and more
• Talk to NPCs with branching dialogue and daily routines
• Shop for books, clothing, accessories, and tools using Noor and Ilmu points
• Complete good deeds and daily challenges
• Unlock 20 levels of progression - each with new areas, outfits, and features
• Customize your character - male, female, adult, or child
• Earn achievements across every system in the game
BUILT WITH CARE
Full Arabic and English support throughout. Quranic verses displayed in proper Hafs script with transliteration and translation.
Right-to-left text handled correctly - not as an afterthought. Switch languages anytime from settings.
Prayer times sync with in-game time or your real-world clock. Adjust the game speed to your pace. Turn on learning mode if you want
extra guidance. Notifications remind you when it's time to pray.
