THREE WAYS TO SEARCH

Wi-Fi check
Lists every device on the network you are on, and identifies which ones are cameras — not by guessing from a port number, but by speaking the protocols cameras use and reading what they say about themselves. A device streaming video, or announcing itself as a camera, is reported as one. A router is reported as a router.

Nearby broadcasts
Some cameras record to a memory card or use their own SIM, so they never join your Wi-Fi and no network scan can see them. Many of those still broadcast a setup network or a Bluetooth signal. NoPeek listens for those too, and checks the hardware address against a list of camera manufacturers — a network name can be anything the owner typed, but the hardware address cannot be edited.

Lens finder
A camera lens reflects light straight back the way it came, so under a bright torch in a dark room it answers with a small sharp point of light. NoPeek turns on the torch, darkens the exposure so the glint stands out, and marks bright spots on screen as you sweep. It also blinks the torch to tell a true reflection from something that simply glows, and it names what it is looking at — a smoke alarm, a clock, a charger — so you know whether a reflection there is normal or worth a second look. Night mode switches to the front camera, which on most phones can see the invisible infrared lamps a night-vision camera uses.

HONEST ABOUT LIMITS

No phone app can promise to find every hidden camera, and any app that says otherwise is selling you something. A camera that records to a memory card, hides behind a pinhole, or is switched off may not show up. NoPeek tells you what it found, how it knows, and what it cannot see — including when the network you are on hides devices from each other, which is common in hotels and would otherwise look like a clean result.

YOUR PRIVACY

NoPeek has no server and no account. Nothing you scan leaves your phone. There is no analytics and no advertising. Android requires location permission before any app may list Wi-Fi network names, so NoPeek asks for it — and uses it for nothing else. Your position is never read, stored or sent.
