Could you point north right now without checking your phone's map?

Noriento is a daily 10-second game that trains your sense of direction. Each day you get one guess: hold your phone flat, turn until you think you're facing true north, and tap to lock it in. The moment you do, Noriento shows you exactly how far off you were, down to the degree - "12° east of north." Then it does something quietly addictive: it tracks that number over days and weeks, so you can watch your inner compass get sharper.

That's the whole loop. No sprawling menus, no timers ticking against you, no ads. Just one honest guess a day and a clear answer.

HOW IT WORKS
• Open the app and tap to play - no account needed.
• Turn your body until your phone points where you believe north is. The dial moves with you but never gives the answer away.
• Tap to lock. Noriento reveals your error in degrees and which band you landed in - Locked, Sharp, Close, Off, or Lost.
• Come back tomorrow. Your daily streak, best-ever guess, and weekly average build a picture of how your sense of direction is improving.

WHY IT'S GOOD FOR YOU
Most of us have outsourced our sense of direction to a blue dot on a map. Noriento is a tiny daily rep for a skill you already have but rarely use. It takes ten seconds, it's genuinely fun to see the number shrink, and unlike most "brain training," the thing it trains is real: knowing which way you're facing in the world.

MORE WAYS TO PLAY
Once you've got the hang of north, there's a whole set of direction challenges:
• Cardinals - point east, south, and west, rotating daily.
• Places - point toward a real city anywhere on Earth (New York, Tokyo, Mecca and more), calculated from where you are.
• Moon - point at the moon, even when it's below the horizon and you're aiming through the planet.
• Sun and Planets - find them in the sky by direction alone.

DESIGNED TO BE CALM
Noriento is deliberately small and quiet. There are no lives to lose, no pop-ups begging you to come back, no dark patterns. One reminder a day if you want it, and never a guilt trip if you miss a day. It works offline for the daily guess, and you can play the whole thing without ever making an account.

PRIVACY
The daily north guess uses only your phone's compass — no location needed. Location is used only if you choose to play the city games or turn on the world map, and even then only a rough area is ever stored, never your exact position.
