About this app

Stormline Weather is a fast, focused weather app with no clutter and no ads. The forecast, a moving radar map, lightning strikes and weather alerts are all in one clean view.

KEY WEATHER, ONE CLEAN VIEW
Current conditions, an hourly strip, a multi-day outlook, feels like, wind, UV, humidity, visibility, pressure, sunrise and sunset, and the moon, for where you are or any place you save.

MOVING RADAR MAP
Animated radar for Canada and the United States: about three hours of recent radar plus a short-term look ahead at where the rain is heading, clearly marked so predictions are never mistaken for what has already fallen.

LIGHTNING STRIKE INFO
Switch on the Lightning layer to see recent strikes on the same map as the radar, and watch them move with the storm.

NOTIFICATIONS FOR WEATHER ALERTS AND LIGHTNING
Get a notification for severe weather watches and warnings from the U.S. National Weather Service and Environment Canada, and when lightning is detected near your places. Alerts are off until you turn them on.

FOLLOW MY LOCATION (OPTIONAL)
Follow my location keeps your lightning and severe weather alerts with you as you travel. It uses your approximate location in the background, even when the app is closed or not in use, but only after you turn on alerts, read a clear explanation and tap Accept. If you decline, your alerts still cover your saved places. You can switch Follow my location off at any time in Settings.

AI SUMMARIES
Plain-language summaries of your weather for today, tomorrow and the week ahead, written from your real forecast. Sign in to try free summaries. Stormline Weather Pro unlocks more AI summaries. Summaries are optional and can be hidden in Settings.

HOME SCREEN WIDGET
See the temperature, conditions and what's next without opening the app.

NO ADS, NO CLUTTER
No advertising and no tracking. Signing in with Google is optional and only syncs your saved places and preferences between devices; the app works fully without it. Your location is used to show your local weather and, if you turn them on, to send alerts for your area. Details are in our privacy policy.

Weather data is provided by Apple Weather. Radar contains information licensed under the Data Server End-use Licence of Environment and Climate Change Canada. Stormline Weather is for general information and should not be relied on for emergencies or safety decisions.

Subscribe monthly or annually. Prices and any free trial offer are shown in the app before you subscribe. Payment is charged to your Google Play account. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel any time in Google Play under Payments and subscriptions.
