Dobdob is an accountability app with a grudge.
Make a promise. "Gym by 7." "Read 10 pages." "No takeaway." Pick a deadline, and pick a snitch: a mate, your mum, anyone who'll enjoy it.
Prove it before the deadline. Tap, take a photo, be at the right place, or send a screenshot of your run or the form you finally filled in. Dobdob's own clock decides, not your phone's, so there's no fiddling the time.
Once a day not enough? Set up to five check-ins a day, each with its own time and proof. Miss one and your snitch decides if the day still counts.
Miss it, and you get grassed. Dobdob tells your snitch you flopped. They get the gossip. You get the shame. They can reply, too. Nicely, in theory.
Keep your streak. It counts the days you kept every promise. Tap it to see the last five weeks, good days and bad.
Better with mates. Your mates see your streaks and level-ups on the Mates feed, plus the promises you choose to share, and they can reply to your wins and your flops.
Start a board. Same promise, whole group, one table. It resets every week, and somebody always ends up Flop of the Week.
Meet Dobdob: a blade of grass with opinions. He levels up with you, picks up new gear, and has a line for every occasion. None of them kind.
Private where it matters. Your promises are private: only your snitch hears about them, and only what you choose shows on the Mates feed. Proof photos are deleted soon after they're checked. Share one with your mates and it stays for a week, then goes. We never keep where you were, only whether you were there. A snitch who isn't on Dobdob gets one invite text and nothing more unless they say yes.
For ages 16 and over.
Make a promise. Miss it, and your mate gets told. Accountability, with shame.
