About this app

Hear a scam before it costs you.

Phone scams are getting smarter — and they target the people you love most. Eave is a simple, on-demand call companion that listens during suspicious calls and instantly warns you the moment it detects you're being manipulated by a scammer.

No call recording. No always-on listening. No complicated setup. Just tap one button when a call feels off, and Eave has your back.

HOW IT WORKS

① You get a suspicious call — a "tax agent," "bank fraud team," "grandchild in trouble," gift-card request, or anyone pressuring you for money or information.
② Tap Start Monitoring Call in Eave.
③ Eave's AI listens in real time and watches for the language patterns scammers use — pressure tactics, urgency, secrecy demands, gift-card requests, "don't tell your family."
④ The instant a scam is detected, Eave fires a loud alert: vibration, on-screen warning, and a spoken voice prompt — "Warning: possible scam detected. Hang up now."

KEY FEATURES

🛡 Real-time scam detection — Powered by AI trained on thousands of real scammer scripts.

🎤 No speakerphone needed — Eave listens to YOUR voice through the microphone. Works during a normal call.

🔔 Loud, unmistakable alert — Vibration + voice prompt + visual warning so you can't miss it mid-call.

👨‍👩‍👧 Optional family alerts — Pair with the free ntfy app and a trusted family member gets a push notification the instant a scam fires, so they can call you right away.

📞 Safety contact shortcut — One tap to text or call a trusted person from inside the alert screen.

🔒 Privacy first — Eave never records or stores your calls. Audio is analyzed in real time and immediately discarded. Your conversations stay private.

🚀 Auto-monitor (optional) — Grant the Phone permission and Eave can open automatically when you answer a call.

WHO EAVE IS FOR

• Older parents and grandparents who are common scam targets
• Anyone who has ever been on a call that "didn't feel right"
• Family members who want extra peace of mind for a loved one
• People targeted by tax-agency, bank-fraud, romance, gift-card, or "grandchild emergency" scams

SPEAKER MODE = BETTER PROTECTION

If you put the call on speaker, Eave can hear both sides and detect scammer scripts even faster. ⚠ One red flag worth knowing: real banks, agencies, and family members will never object to being on speaker. Scammers almost always try to get you to take it off speaker — treat that as a warning sign.

WHAT EAVE WILL NEVER DO

❌ Record or save your calls
❌ Read your call log or contacts without permission
❌ Sell your data
❌ Send anything to anyone without your explicit tap
