PDF Reader - Document Viewer

About this app

A missing document should start with a search, not a maze. PDF Reader - File Manager turns its opening screen into a local search desk with live category totals, animated storage and memory meters, and one-tap entries for management or reading.

FIND

Search shared storage for reading formats, media collections, compressed files, downloaded items, and Android packages. PDF, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and TXT all appear in the catalogue. Results identify format, size, and modified date before anything is opened.

ACT

Long-press one or several results to build a selection. The app shows the count and asks for confirmation before deleting source files. Opening an APK is also deliberate: only the package you tap is prepared for Android's installer.

READ

PDF pages use simple previous and next controls. Modern Office files are locally decoded into selectable native-text sections, while legacy PPT, DOC, and XLS content receives a clearly limited recovery view. Pictures support pinch zoom; video remains in its own player; audio offers local play and pause controls.

A visible Share command creates one private read-only copy for Android's destination chooser. It does not upload the document.

KEEP TRACK

- Starred paths form a private shortlist stored by the app.
- The large-file lens isolates documents measuring at least 25 MB.
- Category totals make a broad collection easier to review.
