About this game

CLOUD ADMINISTRATOR SIMULATOR

You just joined Northstar Cloud Operations as a Cloud Administrator on the
NORTH-1 region of Nimbus Cloud, a fictional public-cloud platform. The
estate is live: virtual machines are serving real traffic, autoscaling
groups are reacting to load, and the ticket queue never stays empty for
long. It's on you to keep everything running, secure, and inside budget.

This isn't a trivia quiz with a cloud-console skin. You operate an actual
running estate: VMs with their own CPU/memory telemetry, VNets and subnets
wired together with real routing, security groups that either pass traffic
or silently block it, load balancers checking backend health on a timer,
and a monthly cost forecast that reacts to what you actually provision.
Nothing is scripted to just work — if a health probe path is wrong, the
load balancer marks the backend unhealthy exactly like a real one would.

HOW IT WORKS

• Manage Virtual Machines — start, stop, resize, and delete instances, and
tune autoscaling group limits and thresholds
• Design the network — VNets, subnets, internet/NAT gateways, and Security
Group allow/deny rules that decide what can actually reach what
• Keep Load Balancers healthy — backend pools, health probe paths, and
traffic algorithms
• Run Object Storage and Managed Databases — versioning, lifecycle rules,
replication, backups, and public-access exposure
• Enforce IAM & Governance — user permissions, MFA, service identities,
and org-wide policies
• Watch Monitoring and Cost Management — estate-wide gauges, an activity
log, cost-by-service breakdowns, and forecast-vs-budget tracking
• Work incident tickets end to end — investigate across the same signals
a real cloud console would show you, pick a corrective action, and
confirm the metric actually stabilizes before you close the ticket

CONSEQUENCES ARE REAL

Widen a security group to ALLOW ANY and your reputation takes the hit the
moment it's live. Leave an object bucket public and it stays a liability
until you secure it. Delete a VM that's still in a load balancer's backend
pool and you can take down the very service you were trying to fix. Skip
investigating and jump straight to an action, and you can apply the wrong
fix to a system that was never the actual root cause.

WHAT YOU'RE RUNNING

Load balancer health-probe mismatches, security group misconfigurations
that cut off a production database, autoscaling policies quietly driving
up cost, availability-zone outages, and publicly exposed storage buckets
are fully playable now, with more incident categories built into the same
engine for future updates.

BUILD YOUR CAREER

Earn budget and XP for every ticket you close cleanly. Spend it on
compute capacity, better monitoring coverage, and platform upgrades as you
climb from Cloud Administrator toward the top of Northstar Cloud
Operations' ladder.

• Fully playable in English and Turkish
• No account, no login, no internet connection required
• Play fully offline after the first load — your progress saves
automatically on your device
• Mobile-first design for one-handed play, with full touch, mouse, and
keyboard support

Nimbus Cloud is a fictional platform built entirely for this game — no
real cloud provider, API, or account is involved anywhere.

The estate doesn't manage itself.
Run a live cloud estate — VMs, networks, incidents — on Nimbus Cloud.
