About this game

Enter a vast, underwater cosmos: a mysterious interconnected world of tentacles, sharp teeth, and black ink, where your survival depends on your ability to adapt in a continually changing environment. But this is just on the surface… Lurking below the surface lie mysteries so bizarre they hardly seem natural. The Deep is a deck of 87 unique traits you’ll discover over the course of many games. These over-powered traits represent the unknown: the undiscovered wonders of the deep ocean.

Based on the hit board game, Oceans offers a beautifully crafted strategy game experience. The reef and 20 deep cards are completely free to play (and ad-free!), and you may also join one multiplayer game per day free. A one-time upgrade to the Complete Game features 87 Deep Cards, 21 Scenarios, and multiple hard AI personalities for endless replay fun. You can now play online against others on any platform, in real time or asynchronously. Purchasing the Complete Game allows you to create your own decks for use in singleplayer and multiplayer, and create your own multiplayer games.

Venture into the Deep at your own risk!

One of my favorite games in real life. The app *was* really well made and maybe will be again. I've uninstalled for now. Lack of three or more players has always been a shortcoming, but lately the game keeps crashing. Always as the AI is determining a move and frequently when I've put it in a bad position. A side note that may or may not be related: my watch always disconnects from my phone Bluetooth right before the game crashes. The game crashes and then my watch immediately reconnects.

Thank you for leaving your feedback and a detailed event of the crashing you're experiencing. We'll forward this to our engineers for review.

Oceans is one of my favorite games. I do not buy in app purchases but I did with this one. It is well implemented and is mostly a smooth experience. There are a couple things that really hurt the game for me... 1). The online is unplayable for me. No traffic and private games don't work. 2). Zooming on cards, especially Deep Cards, is poop. 3). The promo content (kickstarter stuff) is not included in the "all cards" in app purchase. 4). There needs to be a rewind after foraging or something.

Thank you for rating Oceans! We always appreciate hearing from players and we're sorry to hear you experienced a bit of trouble. Our player community is more focused on finding matches through Discord, and we encourage you to join our channel to meet up with others. We are aware of the zoom feature issue and are looking into it.

Oceans was released right before the Covid spread in the U.S. , and honestly was the last board game we played before the lockdowns. I had hoped to use the app to play online with family, but there is no online features and a small micro transaction to unlock 2 player "couch coop". No biggie on the micro transaction. It's refreshing to see a 1 dollar decent unlock, effectively giving you a free demo and 1 dollar for something closer to the board game. Will review again if/when online happens
