Sometimes an idea pops into your head in the middle of a video, a chat, or a website—and switching apps just gets in the way. With **Floating Notes**, you open a **small window on top of the screen** and write instantly, without losing what you were doing.

You can organize everything into **folders** (and rearrange them as you like), view notes in a **list or gallery**, and **search** when there are many notes. Want to keep something always at hand? **Pin** the note. Want a little more care with some text? You can **lock** it.

In the editor, you use what you already know: **bold**, *italics*, lists, checklists, different sizes, **tables** when you need to organize in columns, and even combine **text and background color**. In the floating window, you can adjust the **transparency** so as not to cover what matters in the background. And if you want to send the text to another place, just **share** it.

The visual style follows you: **light**, **dark**, or **same as your phone** theme.

Android may request **permission to appear over other apps** and **notification** permission; without this, the floating note won't remain stable while you use the rest of your phone.
