NO TEARS is a neutral, zero-knowledge, peer-to-peer (P2P) utility application designed to facilitate direct, ephemeral, and strictly encrypted connections between two devices.

In an era of mass data collection, NO TEARS takes a radical approach: We cannot read, store, or recover your data because we simply don't have it. There are no user accounts, no central servers storing your messages, and no digital footprints left behind. Your data exists solely on your device for the duration of the connection. Once your session ends, the data ceases to exist.

• Auto-Wipe Triggers: Minimizing the app, locking your screen, or pressing the power button triggers an immediate, automatic session termination and data purge.
• Strict Screenshot Block: Prevents the device's operating system or third-party apps from capturing screenshots or recording the screen while the app is active.

Send and receive files directly from peer to peer. For added security, you can enable a setting that forces the receiver to request your permission before they can save the file to their device.

Switch languages instantly from the in-app Settings menu. Your preference is saved locally.

HOW IT WORKS:
1. Tap "New" to generate a secure, one-time session code and QR code.
2. Share this code securely with your contact.
3. The receiving party taps "Join" and inputs the code or scans the QR.
4. An encrypted P2P tunnel is established directly between your two devices.
5. When the session is closed, absolutely everything is wiped.
