About this app

Notenarchiv is the mobile app for music clubs, concert bands and ensembles that manage their sheet music digitally. Every member always has their parts at hand – in rehearsal, at the concert or practicing at home.

YOUR SHEET MUSIC, ALWAYS WITH YOU
Search your club's entire archive by title or composer. You only see the parts that match your instruments – no scrolling through dozens of others. Your music is right there.

AVAILABLE OFFLINE
Notenarchiv automatically stores opened PDFs on your device. Go further and mark a whole set as available offline, or set up sync rules by instrument and music book – your parts are downloaded and kept up to date automatically, so they are always there, even in rehearsal rooms without Wi-Fi.

WRITE ON THE PAGE (PREMIUM)
Annotate right in your music: highlighter, pressure-sensitive pen for S Pen, musical symbols such as fermata, segno and breath marks, plus your own text notes. Your annotations live on their own layer – private, or shared with the whole club if you choose. Crop away wide scan margins so the notes sit larger on the page. Offline, everything is saved locally and synced later.

DATES AND RSVPS (PREMIUM)
Rehearsals, performances and meetings appear in the app with time and place. Accept or decline with a single tap, optionally with a comment and a response deadline. Dates can be addressed to the whole club, individual groups or single sections – and the committee sees at a glance who is coming.

STAGE MODE FOR THE PERFORMANCE (PREMIUM)
Put the programme together as a set and prepare every part offline with one tap. In a live session the conductor leads through the programme and everyone's page turns follow automatically – placeholders for speeches included.

HALF-PAGE TURNS
The built-in reader turns half a page at a time, with an adjustable split point per page. The next lines stay in view, so you never lose your place while playing. Prefer whole pages, like a printed folder? Turn half-page mode off in the settings.

BROWSE MUSIC BOOKS
Access your club's music books directly – main folder, march book or concert folder. Sort by number, title or composer and jump to a piece with a single tap.

UPLOAD SHEET MUSIC
Upload PDFs straight from your phone – individually or in batches. Share files from any app and assign them to an instrument or piece.

AI-ASSISTED FILING
Newly uploaded scores almost file themselves: the AI recognizes the instrument from the file name and content and suggests the matching piece – or proposes creating a new one. Your music librarian assigns new parts with a single tap instead of sorting every file by hand. AI recognition is optional and can be enabled per club.

SECURE AND PASSWORDLESS
Sign in with a passkey using Face ID or Touch ID – no password needed. Alternatively, log in with a code sent by email.

MULTIPLE CLUBS
Playing in more than one club? Switch between them with a single tap and access each club's archive.

AVAILABLE IN YOUR LANGUAGE
Notenarchiv is fully localized in German, English, Italian and French and automatically follows your device language.

REQUIREMENTS
Notenarchiv is the mobile companion to the Notenarchiv.com platform. Your club needs an account on Notenarchiv.com, and your music librarian creates a personal account for you there – there is no sign-up inside the app. The app is free for all club members. Features marked PREMIUM require your club's Premium plan.
