CalcPad is a notepad calculator that calculates numbers with notes that keeps your numbers and their meaning together. Add a cost, write what it was for, and carry on with the calculation. When you come back later, the explanation is still there.

Use this notepad calculator to work out a trip budget, total up an order, compare project costs or keep track of a shopping list. Your calculations stay on an editable tape, so you can check the steps and change an amount without starting over.

Add notes beside your numbers
Label amounts with notes such as hotel, materials or delivery fees. You can also write a separate note above a calculation to explain the plan. Switch between the number keypad and text keyboard as you work.

Edit a number and see the new total
Tap an earlier entry to correct it. CalcPad recalculates the totals that depend on it, while keeping your notes in place. Add subtotals for longer calculations, and use undo or redo when you need to step back.

Keep each project in its own tab
Create separate worksheets for home expenses, travel plans and work. Give each tab a name and return to it when you need it. Worksheets save on your device, keeping your calculation notes available for the next time you open the app.

Share calculations with their notes
Save a worksheet as a PDF through the print menu, or share the calculation as text and share as picture with CalcPad. Send a cost breakdown with its explanations, keep a PDF for your records or print a copy. The person reading it can follow the amounts as well as the final total.
