Gwittim — Check messages without opening the app. No ads.

Have you ever felt hesitant to check the content of a KakaoTalk message beforehand because the 'Read Receipt (1)' disappears immediately upon opening the app? Or have you ever missed a message because the sender deleted it right after sending it? Gwittim is a notification preview app that preserves incoming notifications on a separate screen, allowing you to safely view message content and attached photos without opening the original messenger app. Even if the sender deletes the message later, the content received via notification remains intact. Since the developer created this app because they dislike ads themselves, not a single ad is displayed.

• View Lost Messages as They Are — Even if the sender deletes, recalls, or edits the message on KakaoTalk, the original remains intact in Gwittim. You can view them all at a glance on a separate 'Lost Messages' screen.

• Preview Content Without Read Receipts — Preserves messenger notifications from KakaoTalk, LINE, Telegram, and more separately. Instantly check who sent what message without having to open the original app

• Photo/Image Preview — View images attached to notifications directly within the app. Even if the photo disappears from the original app, it remains in Gwittim. Supports 'Photo Collection,' which gathers all photos on a single screen

• AI Chat Summary — When you enter a chat room, new unread notifications are automatically organized into Decisions, Schedules, To-Do, and Highlights.

• Notification Statistics — Top Senders, Daily Average, Day of the Week, Time of Day Heatmaps, and even a single shared card. See your notification patterns at a glance.

• Data Recovery — Retrieve your previous notifications even if you change devices or reinstall the app.

Free users can still use all core features. Only AI, Statistics, and Recovery are Pro exclusive. There are still no ads on the Pro subscription.

[ Permissions Guide ]

• Notification Listener — Required to receive notifications that have arrived in the system. Please enable this in System Settings by following the instructions on the screen upon first launch.

• Show notifications (Android 13+) — Required to display guidance notifications sent directly by Gwittim

• Exclude battery optimization (Recommended) — Recommended to receive notifications seamlessly in the background

• Show over other apps (Optional) — Required only when using floating previews

Gwittim does not require separate registration or login. It does not use ads, trackers, or analytics SDKs. By default, notification content is stored only on the device; only with a Pro subscription is it transmitted and stored via secure channels to OpenAI (GPT-4o, GPT-4o-mini) or Supabase for AI analysis, and it is automatically deleted upon cancellation of Pro.
