Souls rejoice and hearts find peace at the mention of Paradise; It is the eternal bliss and the joy that has no sorrow in it, and it is the abode of joy and happiness. As for this worldly life, it contains happiness and sadness, hardship and ease, and it contains health and sickness. It is not possible for a person to fully attain the desire for comfort and tranquility in this worldly life, as the Prophet - may God bless him and grant him peace - described this world and the Hereafter by saying: “This world is a prison for the believer and a paradise for the disbeliever.” So the wise person is the one who understands the reality of this world, and that it is a place to cross over to the true life, which is the Hereafter. So it is incumbent upon the servant not to take this world as his abode and neglect the Hereafter, and the virtuous person is the one who makes the Hereafter his greatest concern. So whoever has the Hereafter as his goal and his aim; God Almighty bestowed upon him contentment in his heart and success in this life and the Hereafter. No matter how much happiness and bliss a person attains in this world, their happiness remains incomplete. The believer's happiness is only complete when they set foot in Paradise. God Almighty says: "And the one who believed said, 'O my people, follow me, I will guide you to the way of right conduct. O my people, this worldly life is only temporary enjoyment, and indeed, the Hereafter - that is the home of permanence.'" (Quran 41:50-51). The ultimate reward belongs to those who patiently endure the trials of this world, trust in God Almighty's promise, and dedicate all their longing to Paradise and its eternal bliss.
