They say everything starts with a tiny thread and if you catch hold of the right one, you may just weave the destiny you want. That’s exactly how our story of spinning the smallest into the world’s largest unfolds.
With first steps in the early 80s dedicated to chemicals manufacturing, it was in the 90s when in the heartland of Punjab, our small agro-based company took a giant leap of faith.
Starting out with just a few bundles of raw cotton and a dream, we decided to foray into yarn production.
From being a little known company, today we are the largest manufacturer of terry towels in the world, one of the biggest producers of wheat straw based paper, among the foremost yarn spinners of the country and a world leader in bed linen manufacturing.
With an annual capacity of 360 million pieces of terry towels, 1 million bathrobes, (figure will come.... )metric tonnes of paper and (figure will come.... )bedsheets, our home linen has made its way into 6 continents.
Under the visionary leadership of our founder, chairman Padamshri Rajinder Gupta, we have also written another success story with our wheat-straw based paper that now has a global footprint that spans across 35 countries. Our green, agro-based resources have been certified by the Carbon Footprint Standard, another step towards a more comprehensive environmental footprint. One sheet at a time, Trident has been re-writing the history of paper in India.
With consistent investment in technology, constant research and an innovative approach, Trident has acquired wide and varied global scale capabilities in terry towel and bedsheet production.
A wide array of fibers, yarns and paper- our range keeps expanding to meet the unique needs of our customers.
Our state-of-the-art production facilities include Spinning, Wide-width Airjet & Jacquard weaving, Soft Flow Dyeing and fully automated Cutting and Sewing. Our manufacturing units are equipped with world-class machinery.
The hard work we do is for more than just the hundreds of metric tonnes of output. Our initiatives have not just transformed life of individuals but society at large.
