About this app

In 2017, we built an online community directory, which was expanded to a community services directory in 2020. Our aim has been to provide Northern Territory citizens with a way to quickly and easily find the closest essential support services to them in times of need.

The directory includes a broad range of service providers, including assistance with housing, education, employment, physical and mental wellbeing, substance and physical abuse, disability, transport, and many other community and social issues.

Now, in 2021, we have launched an app for the site that people can download to their phones for instant access to the directory. With phone reception limited in many areas of the Northern Territory the app features an offline sync option to ensure essential information can be accessed offline or in remote areas.

The NTcommunity app is compatible with both Android and iOS devices and free to download.
