About this app

Attendance & Field Tracker is the phone app for teams already using the Attendance & Field Tracking System. Your employer sets up your account — you cannot create one here.

FOR STAFF

• Punch in and out, start and end breaks, in two taps.
• Start and stop work on the job works assigned to you, and tick off the sub-tasks that come with them.
• Attach photos or video as evidence while you are on a task. You see what was captured and can discard it before it is sent.
• Location coordinates are recorded when a punch is made.
• Punch as you Go, where your organisation enables it: record a piece of work with a photo or video and no job work behind it.
• Where a punch happened is shown by name, not only as coordinates, with a link that opens it in your maps app.
• See your own report: hours worked, days present, late arrivals and early exits, for today, this week or this month.

WORKS WITHOUT A SIGNAL

Sites do not always have coverage, so nothing waits for it. A punch is saved on your phone the moment you tap, with the time you tapped it — not the time it eventually reaches the server. It is sent when you are back in range. If anything is ever refused, the app tells you which item and why, rather than leaving you to find out at the end of the month.

FOR ADMINISTRATORS

• See at a glance who is at work, on a break, signed off or has not come in.
• Read the attendance and job-work reports on your phone, with the same date and employee filters as the web console.
• Review every punch on a job work, and the photos filed against it.
• Add and edit people, departments, clients, job works and task groups — including a job work's end date, which closes it for everyone when it comes.
• Choose what each of your administrators may manage.
• Clear out old photos and videos when you no longer need them; every removal is recorded.
• Check your plan, its validity and how much of it you are using.

LOCATION AND CAMERA

The app reads your location only at the moment you make a punch, so your employer has a record of where it was made, and — if they have set up a site boundary — how far from it you were. It does not track you in the background: there is no background location permission, and no code that could read your position while you are not using the app.

The camera opens only when your organisation requires a photo for a punch, or when you choose to attach evidence to a task. The app never reads your photo gallery.

There is no advertising, no analytics and no third-party tracking of any kind.

SUBSCRIPTIONS

Nothing is sold inside this app. Your organisation's subscription is arranged by its administrator.
