Providing curious minds with a home for music discovery. NTS is a global music radio platform, broadcasting from over sixty cities every month. Started as a DIY passion project in Hackney in 2011, with the aim of supporting emerging artists and creating an alternative to stagnant mainstream radio, the platform has over 600 resident hosts: musicians, DJs artists and record collectors.

Tune into two live channels 24/7, more than a dozen Infinite Mixtape channels, or listen back to tens of thousands of archive shows spanning countless genres; from hip-hop to techno, jazz to afrobeats and disco to ambient.

100% ad free. Built by music lovers, for music lovers. NTS is free to use, but listeners may voluntarily subscribe to NTS through NTS Supporters. Half the proceeds go directly to the resident hosts that make NTS what it is. The other half is reinvested into NTS, so we can carry on broadcasting diverse and discerning radio.

Update 10/3/21. Last few updates made it so much more stable and usable. Only few big things to iron out: We need casting for archived material from the app. Navigation out to Mix/SoundCloud is a royal pain and works half of the time. I know it's a non starter since the content isn't hosted by NTS but still.. Anothere is notification control. Barely works and not reliable. Thanks for the great work and quality content. Do you!! I do!!

Love love the music and the shows, love that it's totally free but has the sliding scale for surporting. Love that you can save shows and get notifications for your favourite DJs. Only problem is that it always cuts out when your screen times out or you are on other apps... Very annoying. Has done this on multiple phones I've had since having the app so I know it's not me... Would be amazing if this could be looked into. Also it would be cool if you could download shows for offline listening.

Love it. The one issue I have is that on Android, when I tap the now playing widget in the pull down top nav menu, it just opens Chrome rather than the NTS app.
