NTsocial is a decentralized social platform with full communication capabilities, combining Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) and Meshtastic (LoRa) into a resilient mesh networking system that works from short range to long range. Even without telecom infrastructure, internet access, or cellular service, NTsocial helps communities stay connected outdoors, during disasters, at events, or while on the move.
Infrastructure-Free Communication
NTsocial uses BLE to build a self-healing mesh network that supports peer-to-peer messaging, multi-hop relaying, and temporary message storage between nearby devices. In the latest version, bound channels can also use Meshtastic (LoRa) for long-range transmission, allowing text messages to travel beyond normal Bluetooth distance while preserving BLE for nearby sync, image sharing, and voice messages.
Secure Channels and Unique Identity
Each user has a fixed Peer ID, automatically transformed into a unique Bauhaus-style geometric avatar. NTsocial now supports password-protected encrypted channels, giving you the flexibility to switch between open community spaces and protected discussion environments depending on the situation.
Modern Community Tools
Channels can be shared and imported quickly through QR codes, share links, camera scanning, or image scanning. The Ping All feature on the channel member page instantly checks which members are currently reachable and shows response status over BLE or LoRa. Discussions use a modern nested comment structure with unlimited reply depth.
Maps, Media, and More
With five main tabs—Public, Channels, Chat, People, and Profile—you can smoothly manage public discussions, topic-based channels, private conversations, and nearby users. NTsocial also supports offline maps, live location sharing, map object markers, image messages, and voice messages, making it suitable for outdoor activities, community coordination, and emergency response scenarios. Your relay contributions even help nurture a built-in companion pet, adding a rewarding layer to participation.
Privacy by Design
NTsocial collects no personal data, relies on no central servers, and performs no tracking. Public content is shared among participants by design; when stronger message protection is needed, use encrypted channels for a more secure communication experience.
