The English Standard Version (ESV) was created by a group of scholars translating the Bible from the original texts in Hebrew, Aramaic, and Greek.

The purpose of English Standard Version Bible is to bring modern Bible readers as close as possible to the original meaning of the Sacred Scriptures.

The work of the ESV will never be complete because English usage is always changing. The CBT (Committee of Bible Translation) is charged to meet every year to review and maintain the ESV.

This app demands that you download it from Google instead of other places in order to use it. l When an app makes that requirement it generally means that the app will eventually stopped working if you don't have online access so that the app can access the Play store. It also means that at any time, without your permission, the developer wishes they can update/change the app. Even if you have automatic updates turned off. So yeah, uninstalled

This app frustrates me because anytime I navigate from the text and then return, I discover it always returns to Genesis 1. I installed this app to replace one that is not so user friendly and I'd like to keep it. Please exterminate the bugs.

okay I'm fixing to uninstall this app but I just had to put this up here before I did. do not get this app. if I could give it a negative star I would. most of the time when people download a Bible on their phone, they're wanting to be able to look up a verse or maybe just to follow along with the preacher. you better have plenty of time when you open this one up because it takes forever just to get to the Bible!!
