The English Standard Version (ESV) was created by a group of scholars translating the Bible from the original texts in Hebrew, Aramaic, and Greek.

The purpose of English Standard Version Bible is to bring modern Bible readers as close as possible to the original meaning of the Sacred Scriptures.

The work of the ESV will never be complete because English usage is always changing. The CBT (Committee of Bible Translation) is charged to meet every year to review and maintain the ESV.

This app demands that you download it from Google instead of other places in order to use it. l When an app makes that requirement it generally means that the app will eventually stopped working if you don't have online access so that the app can access the Play store. It also means that at any time, without your permission, the developer wishes they can update/change the app. Even if you have automatic updates turned off. So yeah, uninstalled

I love this app which is not just a bible but has multiple spiritual literature tools that are really useful. Thank you.

Every time I open the app the first thing I see is some ad that I have absolutely no interest in such as scratch offs or spin the wheel. And, way too many times there is no way to turn them down unless I completely close the app then reopen it just to find another ad. Nope I'll have to try a different ESV app because I want to spend time in the word not wasting it on junk of the world. I understand you need to support your business so you have the pro version but I can't afford it.Thanks anyway.
