About this app
NudgeBuzz! Your Personal Notification Engine.
Transform how you receive reminders. NudgeBuzz lets you create custom notification channels with smart scheduling, true alarm-clock alerts, location-based triggers, to-do lists with due-date reminders, AI-generated content and group broadcasts so you never miss what matters.
Completely free, with no feature restrictions, no subscriptions, no paywalls.
KEY FEATURES
Custom Notification Channels
Create unlimited channels for any topic - daily quotes, workouts, study prompts, and more - with custom colors and icons.
To-Do Lists
Checklists with the same reminder power as NudgeBuzz's reminders: due-date alerts, subtasks, streaks, natural-language due dates ("tomorrow at 5pm"), Alarm Mode, Location Trigger, custom schedules, and AI-generated lists ("packing list for Japan").
Smart Scheduling
Flexible intervals from minutes to months, specific time scheduling, active hours support and sequential, random, or weighted delivery.
Location-Triggered Reminders
Get nudged the moment you arrive somewhere - search any address or place by name, just like a map, and NudgeBuzz alerts you instantly instead of on a timer.
Alarm Mode
Set any channel to ring like a real phone alarm: full-screen, wakes and shows over a locked screen and plays through the dedicated alarm volume so it's heard even in silent mode. Built for reminders you truly can't afford to miss.
Countdown Timer & Stopwatch
Built-in timer and stopwatch for cooking, workouts, or focus sessions. The timer rings full-screen with sound the moment it's done reliably, even if you've closed the app. The stopwatch keeps counting even if you leave the screen, with fastest/slowest lap highlighting.
Sports Interval Training
A dedicated Sports mode with HIIT, Tabata, Circuit and AMRAP presets or build your own with custom work/rest durations and number of rounds. Pause and resume anytime and pick which audio cue plays for work, rest and finish so you always know when to switch, even with the phone in an armband.
AI-Powered Content
Tell it exactly what you want ("facts about biology," "motivational quotes for runners") and how many, in any of 12 languages, and NudgeBuzz generates on-topic content on demand - not random generic filler.
Quick-Start Templates
Don't want to build a channel from scratch? Pick from ready-made templates across motivation, mindfulness, health, learning and productivity.
Backup & Restore
Export all your channels, content and settings as a file anytime and import them back on any device.
Groups & Nudges
Nudge your family, roommates or team. Create a group, invite people by email, and send a message to everyone at once or to just one person. Choose Standard, Quiet, or a full-screen Alarm that rings on their phone until dismissed - for the things they truly can't miss. Send now or schedule it for later, with a full history of everything sent.
Rich Content Support
Text, quotes, links with automatic previews, images, video and audio all included, unlimited, no upgrade required.
App Lock
Protect sensitive channels behind a PIN their content stays hidden from notifications and the app itself until unlocked.
Customizable & Themed
Light, dark and auto themes, per-channel colors and emoji and a clean, modern interface.
Privacy-Focused
Local-first storage by default. No third-party analytics or tracking. Groups & Nudges is the only feature that requires signing in, and it's entirely opt-in.
ABOUT ADS
NudgeBuzz shows banner and native ads to help keep it free for everyone - no paywalls, ever.
PERFECT FOR
Daily motivation, medication reminders, workout and study schedules, habit tracking, language learning, location-based errands ("remind me at the pharmacy"), team or family broadcasts and anything else you truly can't miss.

What’s new
Reminders you can count on
• Fixed: on newer Android phones, reminders could silently fail if "Alarms & reminders" was off. Now they always arrive, right on time once it's on.
• Link previews now show for TikTok, YouTube and more sites, and missing ones fill in on their own.
• Tapping a location reminder now opens it.
• A fresh welcome tour, with fewer permission pop-ups.
• One-time reminders can't be set for a time that's already passed.
• Fixed a crash when a channel failed to save.
