NumRift is a quick math quiz you can open anytime and play in a few minutes. Tap Play on the start screen, answer ten questions in a row, and see how far your number skills take you before your lives run out.
HOW NUMBRIFT WORKS
Each round in NumRift gives you ten math questions and three lives shown as hearts on the screen. Every question has a fifteen-second countdown. Read the problem, then tap one of four answer choices before time runs out.
Answer correctly and you earn points. NumRift rewards speed: the more seconds you have left on the clock, the higher your score grows for that question. Pick the wrong answer or let the timer reach zero and you lose one life. When all three lives are gone, the round ends. Complete all ten questions with at least one life remaining and you win the round.
THREE LEVELS INSIDE ONE ROUND
NumRift does not throw every type of math at you at once. The round is split into three levels that rise as you progress.
In the early questions, Level 1 focuses on addition with comfortable numbers. Mid-round, Level 2 moves to subtraction. In the final stretch, Level 3 asks you to multiply. The shift happens naturally as you answer more questions, so each stage feels a little tougher without sudden jumps.
WHAT YOU SEE WHILE YOU PLAY
During a round, NumRift keeps your progress easy to follow. Your score sits on the screen along with a counter showing how many questions you have finished out of ten. You always see your current level, the seconds left on the timer, and how many hearts you still have. Nothing hides behind menus — you stay focused on the numbers in front of you.
SCORING AND TIME
Points come from correct answers. Base credit applies to every right pick, and extra points stack when you answer quickly. That means calm, confident choices often pay off more than rushed guesses. Wrong answers and timeouts do not add score — they cost a life instead. Watching both score and timer helps you decide when to trust your first instinct and when to double-check.
WIN, LOSE, AND WHAT HAPPENS NEXT
NumRift ends each round with a clear result. Win and you see a victory message along with your full stats. Lose and the game over screen encourages you to try again. Either way, the results page shows your total score, how many answers you got right out of ten, and how many seconds the whole round took.
YOUR BEST SCORE STAYS WITH YOU
NumRift remembers your highest score from past rounds on your device. After every game, you can compare your latest result with that personal best. Beat it and the new number becomes the mark to chase next time. Fall short and you know exactly what to aim for on the next try.
Tap Play Again on the results screen to jump straight into a fresh round. A new session starts with zero score, three lives, and ten new questions waiting.
