Numera — Mental Math Trainer

BORDER LIME CONSTRUCTION LTD

About this app

Numera transforms calculation into second nature. Built on cognitive response latency science, Numera diagnoses your exact arithmetic weak points, calibrates to your millisecond speed curve, and teaches you structured mental calculation algorithms used by competitive mental math champions.

Unlike standard flashcard apps that repeat static questions, Numera features a dynamic algorithmic engine that generates unique calculations on the fly and adjusts in real time: three consecutive rapid answers increase the difficulty, while repeated hesitations adapt the problem set to reinforce mastery.

CORE FEATURES:

• ADAPTIVE 60-SECOND SPEED DRILLS
Engage in focused arithmetic sprints across addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, or mixed arithmetic. The engine tracks your millisecond latency on every question, adjusting the difficulty curve dynamically as your recall speed accelerates.

• 11×11 FACT GRID HEAT MAP
Visualize your entire multiplication recall profile on an interactive 11×11 matrix. Color-coded heat mapping distinguishes instantaneous recall (<1.0s) from slow hesitation areas, immediately flagging your top 4 worst-performing facts for targeted reinforcement.

• 18 STRUCTURED MENTAL SHORTCUT TECHNIQUES
Step-by-step algorithms with worked examples and carry rules:
- Multiplying Any 2-Digit Number by 11 (Split & Sum algorithm)
- Squaring Numbers Ending in 5 (n × (n+1) append 25)
- Complements to 100 & 1,000 (All from 9, last from 10)
- Rapid Division by 5, 25, and 50 (Double & decimal shift)
- Cross-Multiplication for 2-Digit Numbers (Vedic math algorithm)
- Plus 13 additional practical mental techniques.

• SPEED DISTRIBUTION & LATENCY HISTOGRAMS
Track your response latency over a rolling 50-answer window. Analyze what percentage of your answers fall into Lightning (<1.0s), Target (1.0–1.5s), Pondering (1.5–2.0s), and Lagging (>2.0s) performance tiers.

• 8 HARMONIOUS FULL-BLEED THEMES
Customize your training aesthetic with curated palettes designed for visual clarity: Sky Classic, Deep Azure, Nordic Frost, Midnight Math, Arithmetic Parchment, Emerald Focus, Sunset Equations, and Slate Minimal.

• ZERO PERMISSIONS & TOTAL PRIVACY
Numera requires zero Android permissions. All data, scores, and statistics remain entirely on your device in local sandboxed storage. No internet connection is ever required.
