Meanwhile, Gus Salam is the son of KH Sohib Bisri, who is none other than the grandson of KH Bisri Syansuri (Founder of Mambaul Maarif Islamic Boarding School Denanyar Jombang and Rais Aam PBNU 1970-1980).
