TeReS – the digital care community for family caregivers
TeReS makes it easier for family caregivers to access regional support services and provides targeted assistance tailored to their individual life and caregiving situations.
TeReS is currently in a pilot phase and is initially available in the Oberbergischer Kreis district and the 13 districts of the Rodenkirchen borough of Cologne. The pilot phase is being scientifically monitored by the Institute for Nursing Science at the University of Cologne. Following successful completion of the pilot phase, expansion to other regions is planned.
A key priority of TeReS is protecting your privacy: Your information will not be linked to your identity and will not be disclosed to the support service in a personally identifiable manner. This allows you to describe your situation anonymously and openly. No registration is required – you can get started right away.
Using structured questionnaires, you can calmly and accurately assess and describe your caregiving situation from the comfort of your own home. The advice center thus gains an overview of your individual support needs – without any conclusions being drawn about you personally. Based on this, suitable information and support services can be provided.
TeReS offers you:
- early, easy, and direct access to regional advice centers,
- structured assessment of your living and care situation,
- anonymous and secure use of the app,
- tailored information and concrete guidance from your advice center,
- easier access to regional support services,
- targeted and efficient preparation should you wish to schedule a personal consultation later.
In this way, TeReS strengthens the confidence of family caregivers and helps them find the support they need in their daily caregiving more quickly – while simultaneously protecting their personal data.
TeReS is jointly developed by NursIT Institute GmbH, the gewi Institute for Health Economics, and the Cologne-Bonn Health Region. V. and the Institute for Nursing Science at the University of Cologne.
The project is funded by the State of North Rhine-Westphalia through the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF)/Joint Task for the Future of Nursing (JTF) program NRW.
