Wave Unlock is an app use Proximity sensor to unlock screen and lock screen by wave your hand over the proximity sensor. Wave to unlock is allows you to unlock your device just by waving your hand over the proximity sensor and cover Proximity sensor to lock screen.

ā Auto lock screen , turn the screen off when your device in pocket or purse .

ā When your phone is locked, waving your hand over the sensor to wake screen up
ā When your phone screen is on, Cover the proximity sensor to Lock device ( You can enable this function in setting, by default it is not enabled).
ā Option landscape : disable lock screen when your device is in landscape mode .
ā Option vibrate Notifies you of detection of Proximity to advoid locking the phone accidentally
ā Option excluded apps prevent locking if one of these apps in foreground.
š£ To Uninstall āØPlease click on icon on the top actionbar to uninstall.
š£ How to use
ā To enable the app, press the āSTARTā button. Ā The button will turnĀ REDĀ after enabling it.
ā Youāre now ready to unlock your deviceās screen by waving your hand over the screen (wave preciselyĀ over the proximity sensor).
ā Ā Turn your deviceās screen off simply by covering the proximity sensor for about one second. Ā This feature is not enabled by default.
Click on Lockscreen row You will then be asked to add the app as the device administrator in order to enable the feature. Ā Simply enable it and youāre ready to use it. To turn off the screen, cover the proximity sensor of your device forĀ 1 second or more.

ā WAKE_LOCK to turn on the screen
ā USES_POLICY_FORCE_LOCK to lock the device
ā RECEIVE_BOOT_COMPLETED to automatically startup on boot if selected
ā READ_PHONE_STATE to suspend Wave Unlock while on a call

Works great for a while. The problem is that after a day or two, it stops working. I have to then go into the app, turn it off and then on again for it to work for another day or two. And when you tap to open the app, it takes about three seconds before the app opens. Other Wave-type apps open immediately, though they also stop working after some time. I have yet to find a Wave-unlock app that works consistently. This is one of the better ones, meaning that it works for a longer time than other similar apps. But I do wish it would just work without my having to keep stopping and restarting it.

My LG G4 lost the "tap to wake" function. This app allows me to tap wake it again. This phone is great, is custom-isable with all kinds of (removable) large-capacity batteries (8 amps...š) but the power & volume keys are on the back (both a great ideea and inconvenient when mounted on a dash-holder. Now I don't need to fumble with the power button when navigating. Thanks. But... Could you decrease the battery drain when this app is running? It's quite thirsty...

Just what I needed in conjunction with another app because my phone's button does not work anymore so I need to have my phone all the time on. I use this old phone as a music hub and stays always on the same place, it means I have to be able to unlock it without problems and without using other apps which use the gravitational sensor.
