Sundarakand is the text where Seetha is pacified by Hanuman with a message and a memento from Rama, and Hanuman returns to Rama with a happy message. This is considered auspicious in comparison with other kandas where there are elaborate accounts of mishaps such as Rama leaving on exile, or Rama/Lakshmana/Seetha being troubled by rakshasas, Rama and Seetha being separated, Rama wailing at his fate, an elaborate war with killing of hundreds of warriors, etc.

The Bajrang Baan prayer, The Arrow of Hanuman is a very powerful mantra to destroy negativity and fear. It is said that sadhus in the jungle sing this when they are afraid. Correct pronunciation of the beej mantras in this prayer is very important. So if you want to learn it, pay close attention to the transliteration.
