About this app

Dance World is the app for families whose dancers attend a dance school that runs on Dance World. Class times, studio notices, invoices and practice videos all live in one place, instead of across texts, emails and the fridge door.

Open it in the morning and you can see what's on today: your studio's notice board, this week's dance classes for every dancer in the family, what's owing on your account, and any new videos or music your teacher has shared.


ONE LOGIN FOR THE WHOLE FAMILY

Most families have more than one dancer, and one account covers them all. Each child keeps their own class timetable, while the invoices, the balance and the contact details your dance school needs stay together in one account.


THE WEEK AT A GLANCE

See who dances when, and where they need to be. The week view gathers every class across every dancer — ballet, jazz, tap, hip hop, contemporary, whatever your studio teaches — so you can tell in a moment whether Tuesday is a dance night or a night off.


PRACTISE AT HOME

Your dance school can share the routines, the music and the notes that go with each class. Play them in the app, or download them so they are on hand when there is no signal in the hall.


FEES AND INVOICES IN ONE PLACE

See what is owed, what has been paid, and what it was for. Open any invoice for the detail behind it, and get a notification when a new one is posted, rather than finding out at the front desk.


ENROL IN A FEW TAPS

Pick the dancer, pick the class, and send the enrolment request to your studio. No form to print, and no waiting until the office is open.


NOTICES FROM YOUR STUDIO

Costume deadlines, concert and recital dates, hall changes and holiday closures arrive on the notice board, presented the way your dance school wants them.


CLASS ATTENDANCE

Check which classes your dancer has attended this term, so you know where they are up to before an exam or a concert.


BUILT FOR TEACHERS TOO

Teachers at a participating dance school get a view built for them: today's classes, their class lists, attendance, and their teaching notes — on the phone, between classes.

The whole app works either way round, and it can follow your device setting.

You can browse dance schools in the app before you have an account, and see who is taking enrolments.


ABOUT ACCOUNTS

Dance World is used by dance studios to run their classes, enrolments and fees. If your studio uses Dance World, you sign in with your email address and a code we send you — there is no password to remember. If your studio does not use it yet, you are welcome to browse studios in the app and to point them our way.
