Mobile app for Oakter’s technologically advanced IoT based smart home products. This app can be used to configure and control following products by Oakter :

- OakView : WiFi Camera
- OakRemote : WiFi Universal Remote
- OakPlug : WiFi Smart Plugs
- Oakter Hub Ecosystem: Home automation ecosystem with smart plugs and smart boxes to WiFi enable all existing electrical appliances in a home

Multiple products at multiple locations can all be controlled by one app. You can also invite 5 more family members to simultaneously use the app.

Ratings and reviews

Product outlook is good, but app is full of bugs. Can't do the setup properly. Error messages are not useful. OTP feature doesn't work. Asks for Wi-Fi password, which I don't understand why and this was a turn off for me. Also asks to connect to 2.5 GHz wifi, which again doesn't make any sense. Couldn't proceed with the setup anymore.

UPDATE: Google Assistant no longer supported. Imagine buying a new device to connect to you Google Home, and it stopped working with no warranties. There are too few options to even make it usefull. For Samsung AC remote, just on/off and temperature! What about so many other button on a remote. If they can map 1 button, they can map 10 more. Not a rocket science.

I have bought 3smart plugs the recent one was a few days back. While the first two are working fine the recent one is not outputting power. It connects to wifi and alexa,but no power output. I contacted the customer care and they replaced the plug. This one Working fine. Thank you. I will buy some more of these plugs.
