Great but maybe bug on NOTE 7 I've been using this. One of thr first things i install, rooted or not. I got new att Samsung note 7. And for whatever reason, i cannot hibernate using the widget, it just says no apps to hibernate, even though when i launch apps there are many awaiting hibernation. Help!!!
Neat and does what is tell. been a fan of this app ever since i knew about it. though i use it on non root mode. just a suggestion: everytime the hibertnate now button on home is clicked an optional flyout window can be shown for users to deselect the apps that do not need to be hibernated.. this just for that session not permanantly. for example i'd want to hibernate facebook or whatsapp while playing a game so i'd want to hibernate them and not my game. i guess u get the idea... thanks for app.. :)
I liked this very much before i had nougat 7.0... Im not sure if its greenify, the phone, the new OS or its me. It really worked before when i had marshmallow. But after i got nougat, everytime i tap the hibernate/ lock, the apps i use (like messengers or FB) shuts down. I dont receive msgs or calls up until i open the apps. I had to uninstall it for now but i really love this app, pls help, i want this app to work again. Tnx!
Too damn hard I consider myself to be fairly tech-savvy despite my age, but I cannot figure out this app. I don't have time to spend learning about something that should be intuitively simple. I'll just keep charging this short-lived battery. Uninstalling.
Great app for Saving battery For rooted devices to actually use the auto hibernation feature you have to select root mode in the app settings then turn on auto hibernation. After that you have to manually select the apps you want to hibernate by clicking the plus icon followed by the apps you want to auto hibernate then the check button on the lower right hand side.
Works great Does not close system apps or some of the apps that came with your phone. If you can't uninstall an app, then greenify can't close it. Its a weird restriction because it seems like Greenify just Force Stops the apps. System apps can be Force Stopped manually but Greenify cannot do it automatically unless you are rooted. This doesn't affect me much, but I've seen people whose phones came with Facebook preinstalled who couldn't auto-close it with Greenify.
