The biggest drawback is the setup and contact requirements. Anyone she wants to call has to download the app, you can’t simply add approved phone numbers. Some of my daughter’s friends don’t have phones or devices to install the app, so she can’t talk to them. Setup also takes a bit of time, but once everything is configured, the watch works well.

Bad experience, very often my kid sent me messages but never arrived and vice versa. The video call is more reliable but in this age, messaging is more covenient. The watch spoilt less than a year. I am terminating my subscription and switching brand.

This is marketed as a kids safety watch, but its design prioritises social engagement over safety. It rewards kids for adding contacts and posting daily, calling it a mission. Kids can add anyone instantly by touching watches, with no parental approval. Removing contacts later is difficult and creates friction with kids. The interface highlights posting and profiles over parent contact. Parental control is very limited. It feels more like an early social media platform than a child safety device
