About this app

MusicToolKit is a simple, capable toolkit for practicing music. Five tools in one app: metronome, tuner, tuning fork, recorder and keyboard. Open it and start right away.

METRONOME
· Accurate clicks: no drift or lag, however long it runs
· Accents, compound meters (6/8 etc.) and bar-by-bar meter changes (4/4 + 5/4 etc.)

TUNER
· A steady readout: the display doesn't jump around, so you can tune calmly
· Piano-roll-style scrolling graph shows how your pitch moves

TUNING FORK
· Pick the note on a piano-style keyboard
· Reference pitch can be set anywhere from 400 to 500 Hz and is shared with the tuner and keyboard. 415, 432 and 440–444 are one tap away

RECORDER
· Dual level graph (peak and average): clipping warnings make distortion obvious, so setting the level is easy
· Lock button prevents accidental taps while recording. Levels are shown before you start
· Saves as WAV / M4A. Export recordings to other apps from the share menu

KEYBOARD
· A simple tap-to-play keyboard
· Sine, square, triangle and sawtooth waveforms
