Obris Chat is a private communications app built for secure messaging, voice calls and video calls through the Obris VPN network.

Obris Chat is designed around privacy. Messages and attachments are encrypted before being sent, while voice and video calls use encrypted WebRTC media. Obris infrastructure relays encrypted communications without needing access to the contents of your conversations.

Obris VPN required

Obris Chat only operates through an authorised Obris VPN connection. The app verifies that communications are travelling through the Obris VPN network before allowing access to Chat services.

If the verified VPN connection is unavailable, Obris Chat fails closed and communication is prevented until a secure Obris VPN connection is restored.
