About this game

Octomaze, developed by Octagon game studio, based on the use of a unique new game mechanics - 🐙 passing labyrinth controlling a tentacle. With it, you can both destroy enemies and collect items / objects while avoiding the death of a tentacle.
- Five types of the enemies;
- Comets, worms, crates, tile holes, etc;
- Many of levels, with varying challenges, environments, power ups and collectables;
- Nightmare bonus levels
A lot of cool stuff; different types of the lasers, flamethrowers, teleports, centerpieces, suprising tiles, controlled by buttons/lasers

Priceless artifacts were stolen long ago from octopus tribe by their eternal rivals – disgusting parasites. These parasites infested entire realm since then. To stop parasites from spreading and save the tribe, artifacts have to be returned, or everything is lost. Young octopus Aristotle has spent years in search, becoming quite an adventurer. Now, yet another of the artifacts is located, keys are found and another chapter is about to end soon… or is it?

The concept of OctoMaze was inspired by famous classic games Oil's Well, Anteater, Bomberman, etc.

A fun little puzzle game that is easy to start playing, but challenging to master. Each level builds in intensity and has you doing many different things to reach your goal (the collectable coins). Every level has a rating system, so you'll definitely be replaying, trying to get a 3-star rating on each one. There are also many cool customization options that can easily be obtained using only the in-game currency (the coins you collect in each level). Definitely worth giving a try.

It's not a bad puzzle game. I can see where the kool mechanics and abilities can be played upon to build interesting levels. However, my biggest peeve with this game is the finger tracking. I don't know why but the tentacle has a little mind of its own when draggin it along and sometimes it goes too fast and sometimes too slow. It's the foundation of this game and while the graphics and gameplay are fun it is hard for me to play much more than the demo.

I thought the game looked very pretty. Some things could be fixed, like menus need to pop more and things like that. Something else is enemy tells. I think the animations should spice it up just a bit more! I may not purchase the full game simply because I'm broke, but I definitely think other fans of puzzle games should!!
