The Alabama Sheriffs Association mobile app is designed to improve communication and engagement between the Association, Alabama Sheriffs, law enforcement professionals, and the communities they serve. Users can access news, events, training information, public safety updates, resources, and important announcements directly from their mobile device. The Alabama Sheriffs Association is an executive level professional association of the 67 elected Sheriffs in Alabama, one from each county. The Association provides educational, legislative and legal assistance to the Sheriffs. Every Sheriff in Alabama takes the Oath of Office to support the Constitution of the United States, including the 2nd Amendment, and the Constitution of Alabama of 1901, including Article I, Section 26. The Alabama Sheriffs support the laws of the land, as they expect all the citizens of Alabama to do. The Alabama Sheriffs Association is a non-profit organization, categorized as 501(c)(6) under the IRS guidelines. Contributions are not tax deductible. The Alabama Sheriffs Association has no regulatory authority over individual Sheriffs.
