Update: I got these out and tried again to see if there were any improvements. Charged the 3 of them up, and then opened the app. It said it needed to update the software/firmware for each ball I tried, then the bar at the bottom of the screen just sat with the green dot at the beginning not ever moving. Waited over 10 minutes, nothing. App locked up. Probably bricked the balls. These could have been something great, but here we are years later, and nothing has really changed. Disappointing.

my device seemed to turn on while charging, but now (more than 6 hours later of charging), it's not wanting to connect to the app. I'm going to email support about how to fix this, even though I've tried everything the app says to try, but if nothing works, I'm going to request a refund. it's a shame because it liked really interesting in three advertisements.

I don't know if it's the app or the oddball it self, but the audio is just horrible. Sometimes the hits won't register at all and then they will all go in at once two minutes later. Connection issues are a constant problem. The ball will be stuck at connecting for extended periods of time and will stay like that even if I restart the app.
