About this app

Work Time Tracking is the employee app of a work-time and attendance system run by your employer. It is for employees of companies that use the system. To start, your employer gives you a one-time 6-digit activation code. The app is not for the general public.

WHAT THE APP DOES
• Clock in and clock out by scanning the QR code at your workplace.
• Choose the type of time when you clock (regular, private or business).
• Presence checks: if your employer turns them on, you may get a random "Presence check" notification during an active shift. Open it and confirm your location (and a selfie, when required) within the time shown.
• See on the main screen whether you are clocked in, since when, and if you missed a presence check.

LOCATION, CAMERA AND NOTIFICATIONS: WHAT IS USED AND WHEN
• Location: used when you clock in/out and to answer presence checks. While a shift is active, the app can use your location in the background, even when the app is closed or not in use, so that a presence check can be confirmed. A persistent notification ("Active attendance") is shown the whole time. Background location stops when you clock out.
• Camera: to scan QR codes and, when your employer requires it, to take a selfie at clock-in/out or for a presence check.
• Notifications: to alert you to presence checks.
• Battery: the app asks to be excluded from battery optimization so that checks arrive on time on some phones.

YOUR DATA
Your employer is the controller of your data and decides how long it is kept; we operate the app and server on its instructions. We do not show ads, use analytics or sell data. The privacy policy (English and Macedonian) is available in the app and at https://www.oddsmeter.com/erv/privacy.html.
