About this game

Every puzzle hides one ordinary thing. A candle. Rain. A doorway you walk
through twice a day without looking at it.

Five masked figures know what it is. All five will tell you, and that is the
problem, because none of them describes anything the same way twice.

Cecil, whose bowler hat sits over his eyes, tells you what a thing is for.
He has never seen one.

Amos arrives as a broadcast. Bulletins, the weather desk, a word from the
sponsor, more after this.

To Nico it is all footage. Angles, lighting, how the thing performs, whether
it is worth posting.

Norm is a pig. He tells you how it smells. He is usually the most useful one
in the room, which bothers everybody.

Yorick answers in riddles. His lines are the ones worth reading again after
you already know.

HOW IT GOES

Each puzzle opens with its kenning: two words that name the answer without
giving it away. "Storm companion" is a candle. You will not agree until you have solved it, and then you will.

Flip whichever masks you want. Leave the rest closed if you think you can manage. Then type what you think it is.

Talking to them costs you nothing. Only wrong answers cost you. Three stars
to start, one gone with every miss, and after three misses the masks go quiet on you.

WHAT IS IN IT

A new puzzle every day, and an almanac holding every day you missed.

Packs that open one puzzle at a time, so there is always exactly one thing
in front of you.

A result you can share without spoiling anything for the person you send it to.

ABOUT THE ADS

There are ads. They are not a toll booth.

Every puzzle can be finished without watching one. A second chance, and the whole archive are all offered rather than demanded, and the archive costs one ad for the entire day. If you would rather see none of it, one purchase removes them permanently and makes everything they unlock free forever.

No account. No login. Nothing to sign up for. The game does not know who you are and does not want to.
Five masked strangers describe the same hidden thing. You have to name it.
