About this game

SEIZE is a strategic board game inspired by Othello — but with a twist. There's no flanking here: place a piece next to your opponent's, and the neighboring pieces flip to your color. Take the board. Sounds simple. It isn't.

As you climb through the stages, gimmick cells change the rules under your feet:

BURST — captures all surrounding pieces at once
BOMB — a ticking threat that explodes when the timer runs out
CROSS — flips entire rows and columns
SLASH — cuts across the board diagonally
SWAP — exchanges all pieces on the board
SHOT — fires in all four directions
HOLE — cells that disappear and return
SHUFFLE — the board rearranges itself
EXPAND — the board grows mid-game

Each stage introduces new gimmicks in new combinations. Stage 60 is not Stage 1.

STAGE
An endless run of stages with ever-increasing complexity — the deeper you go, the harder it gets, with no finish line. Your progress is saved automatically.

CLASSIC
The base SEIZE rules, no gimmicks — with four COM difficulty levels. Clean and fast.

EDIT
Build your own stages. Arrange gimmick cells freely across the board, play-test them instantly, and save your creations. Every stage gets a share link, so you can send your toughest boards to anyone and play theirs.

PvP
Real-time online matches against another player — random matchmaking or a private battle with a friend. Same gimmicks, same shifting boards, now with a mind on the other side. Set a nickname and avatar and jump in.



No pay-to-win. No energy system.

Fully procedural audio — all BGM and sound effects are synthesized in real time.

SEIZE is a one-person indie project. Feedback is always welcome.
