About this app

Offline Expense Tracker is a lightweight, fully offline personal finance app for Android. All your financial data is stored locally on your device using SQLite — nothing ever leaves your phone.

Core Features:

- Add transactions quickly — log expenses or income with an amount, category, optional note, and date from the main dashboard.
- Dashboard overview — see today's spending, this month's total, and your overall balance at a glance, along with your 30 most recent entries.
- Full history & search — browse all transactions grouped by month. Filter by time period (this month, last month, this year, or a custom date range), category, or free-text search.
- Charts & analytics — visualize your spending as a donut/pie chart by category, or as a daily/monthly trend line, for both monthly and yearly views.
- Custom categories — comes pre-loaded with categories for expenses (Food, Transport, Shopping, Bills, Health, Rent, etc.) and income (Salary, Freelance, Gift, etc.). Add up to 15 custom categories per type, rename them, or delete ones you don't need.
- Backup & restore — export your data to CSV for safekeeping, and restore it anytime. You can also export a filtered view of your history.
- Light & dark theme — toggle between themes, persisted across sessions.
Indian Rupee (INR) currency formatting out of the box.
